Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have been urged to nominate the Coordinating Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Pate, as the consensus candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election in 2027. This call was made Youths Coalition, which believes that Pate’s experience and expertise make him the ideal choice to lead the state.
In a recent gathering, the coalition highlighted the need for a unifying figure who can galvanize support and foster development in Bauchi. They argued that Pate’s track record in public service, particularly during his tenure as a health minister, has equipped him with the necessary skills to address the myriad challenges facing the state.
