MTN Ghana has called for a stronger commitment to mentorship, collaboration, and inclusive leadership as it marked the first anniversary of its Y’elloLadies Network under the theme: “Give to Give.”

Speaking at the event, Angela Kyeremanten-Jimoh, Chief Executive Officer of Brainwave Tech Africa, emphasized that giving is not only a moral responsibility but also a strategic imperative for progress in society. She urged organizations and individuals to actively engage in mentorship programs aimed at empowering women and fostering a culture of collaboration.

The Y’elloLadies Network was established to create a supportive environment for women in the telecommunications sector and beyond, facilitating personal and professional growth. This anniversary celebration brought together a diverse group of women leaders, professionals, and advocates who are committed to enhancing the role of women in various industries.

Kyeremanten-Jimoh highlighted the importance of inclusive leadership, noting that diverse perspectives lead to better decision-making and innovation. “Mentorship is crucial in bridging the gap and ensuring that women have equal opportunities in leadership roles,” she said, encouraging attendees to either seek or offer mentorship as a means of empowerment.

The event also featured discussions on strategies to strengthen women’s representation in technology, business, and leadership roles. Participants shared their experiences and insights, advocating for more collaborative efforts to drive meaningful change.

As MTN Ghana continues to champion the cause of women’s empowerment, it remains committed to fostering an environment where women can thrive, succeed, and contribute significantly to the nation’s growth. The Y’elloLadies Network is poised to expand its reach and impact, inspiring more women to pursue their ambitions and reach their full potential.
