Spectators packed the sidewalks, cheering for their favorite athletes, contributing to an electric atmosphere that epitomized this iconic event.

In a dramatic display of change, two 500-foot concrete cooling towers at the former Brayton Point Power Station were imploded. The controlled demolition marked the end of an era for the power station, once a vital source of energy, and signaled a shift towards more sustainable energy practices in the region.
