The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has officially announced the details for engineering admissions for the upcoming academic year. The announcement was made during a press conference held in Ahmedabad, where committee officials outlined the key dates, eligibility criteria, and the overall admission process.
According to the ACPC, the online registration process for candidates will commence on June 10, 2023, and will remain open until July 15, 2023. Interested students are advised to visit the official ACPC website to complete their registration and submit the necessary documents.
Eligibility requirements have also been specified, primarily focusing on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. Candidates must have secured a minimum qualifying score in JEE to be considered for engineering seats across various colleges in the state. Additionally, students who have completed their 12th-grade education with a focus on science subjects will need to provide proof of their academic credentials.
In a move to streamline the admissions process, ACPC has introduced a centralised online seat allocation system. This system aims to provide transparency and efficiency, reducing the hassle of manual procedures for both the students and the institutions.
The committee has also highlighted that special reservations will be in place for underprivileged and backward classes, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.
