The family of Fergal McCusker, a 28-year-old man found murdered in Maghera in January 2018, has expressed their dissatisfaction with a recent apology issued . “We were hoping for a genuine expression of remorse and acknowledgment of the shortcomings in the investigation,” the family said. “Instead, we received what feels more like a generic statement that does little to reassure us about the commitment to finding justice for Fergal.”
