Expressways in China will likely experience a record traffic volume during the upcoming holiday due to high travel demand, an official said yesterday.

This surge in traffic will be driven not only but also and individuals exploring various destinations across the country.
Wang emphasized the need for drivers to plan their trips carefully to avoid congestion, especially during peak travel times. The ministry is anticipating heavy traffic on major expressways, particularly those leading to popular tourist destinations, where the influx of visitors is expected to be highest.
To manage the anticipated increase in vehicles, the Ministry of Transport has established several traffic management measures, including real-time monitoring and traffic alerts. Authorities are also advising travelers to consider alternative routes and travel during off-peak hours to minimize delays.
In addition to road travel, rail and air travel are also expected to see high volumes during this period. Train services have been scaled up to accommodate passengers, while airlines are reporting increased bookings as people look to make the most of the holiday other regions or cities.
As the holiday approaches, the government continues to urge travelers to prioritize safety traffic regulations, avoiding distractions while driving, and ensuring that vehicles are in good working condition before setting out on long journeys.
