In a strategic move for the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Vanathi Srinivasan to contest from Coimbatore North. In contrast, the Congress party is taking a different approach candidates for the two constituencies it has been allotted in the DMK-led alliance.
