SM Entertainment’s male trainee group SMTR25 to release new track ‘We Go Up’

SM Entertainment’s male trainee group, SMTR25, is set to release a new track titled “We Go Up” at 6 p.m. on Friday, according to the agency. This song will be part of the original soundtrack for Mnet’s popular variety show “Reply High School,” which also features the boy band. The final episode of the show is scheduled to air at 8:20 p.m. on the same day.

“We Go Up” was penned K-pop producer Kenzie, renowned for his extensive work in the industry. With its catchy melody and meaningful lyrics, the track is expected to resonate well with fans and viewers alike.

In conjunction with the finale of “Reply High School,” a pop-up store inspired will open at SM Entertainment’s headquarters in Seongdong District, central Seoul, from Friday through April 19. This store will offer official merchandise, as well as engaging photo zones and message walls where fans can leave their notes for the group.

SMTR25 is also scheduled to host its first meet and greet event at Olympic Hall in Songpa District, southern Seoul, from May 1 to 3. This event is anticipated to draw a significant number of fans eager to interact with the trainees.

The band comprises 15 talented individuals: Hamin, Nicholas, Hanbi, Songha, Daniel, Hyunjun, Kassho, Justin, Haruta, Kachin, Tata, Jaewon, Woolin, Sadaharu, and Charlie. Each member brings unique skills and charm to the group, contributing to their rising popularity.

SM Entertainment has hinted at the group’s potential official debut later this year, further fueling excitement among fans and the K-pop community. As the release of “We Go Up” approaches, anticipation continues to build for both the track and the future endeavors of SMTR25.
