Google has launched a new application tailored for Windows desktops. This tool centers around the Gemini chatbot, aiming to enhance user interaction with AI. For those who prefer not to use Gemini, this app may hold little appeal.
The app features a search bar activated + Space shortcut. Users can input queries to access information from the web, while AI Mode assists with follow-up questions. Beyond web searches, it can also access local files and apps, providing a more integrated experience.
This application is now available globally in English and is compatible with Windows 10 or later. It may surprise some that it is not restricted to Windows 11 users but still requires an updated operating system.
