Amazon Launches Ember Artline TVs, Set to Compete with Samsung’s Frame

Published on April 15, 2026

Amazon recently announced the upcoming availability of its Ember Artline TVs, a product designed to mimic the aesthetic appeal of Samsung’s Frame TV. Pre-orders for this matte, 4K QLED panel begin today, and shipping will commence on April 22 in the US and Canada, with plans for the UK and Germany to follow shortly after.

The Ember Artline aims to integrate seamlessly into living spaces. It will showcase artwork when not in use, featuring over 2,000 curated pieces from various artistic movements. Alongside the launch, Amazon introduced enhancements to its Fire TV Stick HD and updated features for its Fire TV software, underscoring the interconnected ecosystem of their products.

Users can personalize the Ember Artline through various framing options and an innovative “Match the room” feature, which utilizes AI to suggest art based on the surrounding decor. During demonstrations, the device was shown to accurately recommend pieces tailored to the aesthetics of the room, enhancing the personalization aspect of home viewing.

The Ember Artline, priced from $900, is configured to offer a budget-friendly alternative to Samsung’s offerings, which can be quite costly. With new capabilities including Alexa+ support for easy content transfer between devices, Amazon is positioning the Ember Artline not just as a television but as a multifaceted home decor solution.
