Spotify has unveiled a revamped user interface specifically designed for tablet users. The previous app offered a standard experience, only resizing elements based on device orientation. Now, listeners can enjoy a seamless transition between portrait and landscape layouts.
The updated design features a collapsible sidebar that allows users to maximize their screen space. This enhancement lets listeners watch music videos or podcasts while still scrolling through the app. A more visible “switch to video” toggle encourages interaction and engagement.
Earlier this year, select users experienced a beta version of this new interface during testing. Today, Spotify is rolling out the final version across both iPad and Android devices, reaching a broader audience of music and podcast enthusiasts.
This significant update represents Spotify’s commitment to optimizing the listening experience on larger screens. Users can now engage with their favorite content more intuitively, enhancing overall satisfaction and potentially boosting app usage among tablet users.
