TCL recently unveiled its latest line of TVs, including the flagship X11L SQD-Mini LED model, during CES 2026. The company is building on its already popular SQD-Mini LED technology, offering consumers enhanced viewing options. With this expansion, TCL aims to solidify its position in the competitive premium television market.
The introduction of the new RGB-Mini LED TV, RM9L, marks a significant shift from traditional models. Unlike previous iterations that relied on white or blue LEDs, the RM9L uses discrete red, green, and blue LEDs for superior color accuracy. This approach aligns with industry trends, reflecting a growing consumer preference for more vibrant and realistic display technologies.
The RM9L showcases advanced features like an anti-reflective layer, over 3,800 local dimming zones, and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. These specifications promise an immersive viewing experience, enhanced Dol 2. Meanwhile, the SQD-Mini LED models offer various configurations, appealing to different price points.
TCL’s pricing strategy positions the new RM9L at $8,000 for the 85-inch variant, potentially reaching $30,000 for a larger 115-inch model. This premium pricing may attract high-end consumers looking for cutting-edge technology, but it could also limit accessibility for a broader audience. The market response will reveal if TCL’s gamble on innovation and luxury pays off.
