Ubisoft has announced plans to livestream a presentation on April 23 at 12 PM ET, focused on the much-anticipated remake of the popular title, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Fans have eagerly awaited this reveal after persistent rumors about the project over several years.
Now officially titled Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the remake aims to breathe new life into the classic game. Ubisoft fueled excitement last month when they confirmed the remake’s existence, putting an end to speculation that had circulated in gaming communities.
Details about the gameplay and graphics remain under wraps, with only promotional art showcasing protagonist Edward Kenway available so far. The upcoming livestream is expected to feature a trailer that could clarify whether the project is a complete overhaul rather than a mere port of the original.
Various rumors suggest the remake may eliminate modern-day gameplay elements, concentrating solely on the pirate experience that made the original so beloved. As anticipation builds, fans hope to learn more about this project and a future mainline entry in the franchise, tentatively known as Codename Hexe.
