Traeger has long been synonymous with wood pellet grills, catering to backyard chefs with quality and innovative designs. The brand made waves earlier this year with its Flatrock series, featuring three-burner and later a two-burner griddle. Now, Traeger shifts gears to introduce the Irontop, aiming to broaden its appeal in the griddle market.
The Irontop models come in two and four-burner options, offering more cooking space at a more budget-friendly price point. Traeger promises quick preheating, precise temperature management, and consistent heat distribution on the cooktop. Notably, these griddles are designed with wind guards, ensuring reliable performance even in breezy conditions.
Each Irontop griddle is mounted on a cart with four casters for mobility and features two side shelves for additional prep space. The shelves support Traeger’s Pop-And-Lock accessories, allowing for customized storage solutions. Integrated hooks give users a place to keep essential tools within arm’s reach while cooking.
Retailers are now offering the two-burner griddle for $500 and the four-burner for $600. This release aligns with Traeger’s recent strategy to diversify its product lineup, which includes the newly introduced Westwood smart pellet grills starting at $700, making outdoor cooking more accessible to a wider audience.
