Many users rely on digital assistants to simplify their lives. Google’s Gemini Spark was hailed as an advanced AI tool, designed to manage personal tasks efficiently. I decided to let it access my digital footprint to plan a birthday party.
As I granted Gemini Spark access to my emails, documents, and calendar, I anticipated a seamless experience. Instead, the AI focused on logistics but overlooked my boyfriend, failing to include him in the festivities. This glaring omission raised questions about the AI’s understanding of personal relationships.
The AI successfully scheduled tasks and ordered supplies, but the lack of recognition for my boyfriend was jarring. While it executed logistical duties flawlessly, it faltered in grasping emotional nuances. A birthday party without a significant partner felt incomplete.
