Darrell ‘Dash’ Crofts, the iconic voice behind the beloved hit “Summer Breeze” and one half of the cherished musical duo Seals & Crofts, has passed away at the age of 87. His family confirmed that Crofts died due to complications arising from heart surgery. This heartbreaking news comes just a year after the death of his longtime musical partner, Jim Seals.
Formed in the early 1970s, Seals & Crofts quickly rose to fame with a string of chart-topping hits that blended folk, pop, and soft rock. The duo was celebrated not only for their harmonious vocals but also for their poignant songwriting, capturing the essence of a generation.
