The café has faced challenges since launching in mid-April. Despite generating more than $5,700 in sales, it struggles to maintain profitability, with costs quickly outpacing income from an initial budget of over $21,000.
Customer interest remains high, with many amused ’s ability to respond to questions over a café telephone. Yet, the café’s operational hiccups have led to misunderstandings, such as placing excessive orders for items like napkins and gloves, which clutter storage and confuse baristas.
