Today, Alix Earle is launching a skincare line—but if you’ve been paying attention, you likely knew this was coming. Over the past year, the influencer has strategically dropped hints across her social media channels, signaling an impending debut in the beauty industry.
From vlogs at her dermatologist’s office to unbranded product showcases in her “un-get-ready-with-me” posts, Earle has been nurturing curiosity about her upcoming brand. A mystery billboard in New York City, featuring missing pieces and intriguing clues, further teased her followers about what was in store.
At last, Earle is officially unveiling Reale Actives, a skincare line tailored for acne-prone skin yet designed for everyone. The brand launches today, March 31.
For longtime followers, the breadcrumbs of Earle’s skincare journey date back to her early days as an influencer. Her candid discussions about her experiences with the prescription medication Accutane resonated strongly with her audience, creating a foundation for the brand she would eventually establish. “It was, , what resonated with people the most out of anything I had posted,” Earle told Fast Company.
Since launching her first video in 2020, Earle has amassed millions of followers and successfully transitioned her social media presence into a series of business ventures. Notably, she invested in and partnered with Poppi, a prebiotic soda brand that was later acquired $1.95 billion. Earle is also involved with a canned cocktail brand called SipMargs.
Initially, Earle dismissed the idea of creating a skincare line due to her less-than-favorable experiences with past products. Yet, the weight of her audience’s interest in her skin journey compelled her to reconsider. “I kept coming back to acne as the one topic I felt so strongly and passionately about,” she reflected. Earle identified a gap in the market for products backed embraced the realities of skin care while also offering stylish packaging.
With that realization, she conceived Reale Actives, which includes a streamlined four-step skincare routine: a cleansing balm ($29), gel cleanser ($28), mandelic acid serum ($39), and a barrier-boosting moisturizer ($36).
The skincare market is undoubtedly crowded, and influencer-founded brands like Rhode and Summer Fridays have set a high bar. However, Earle expresses her determination for Reale Actives to carve out its own niche. “I don’t want to look to any other brand for comparison,” she stated. “I want Reale Actives to pave its own way and stand on its own.”
After collaborating with her dermatologist, Dr. Kiran Mian, and appointing Andrea Blieden as CEO in 2024, Earle began to strategically introduce her products. During her time on Dancing With The Stars in 2025, she shared videos that unassumingly showcased her skincare routine, while Blieden monitored comments, hoping they would generate buzz about the products.
When Earle’s dance performances drew attention instead, they shifted their approach. “There were times I’d be watching her TikTok and she’d tease our mandelic acid serum, and I had no idea,” Blieden explained, emphasizing Earle’s instinctive understanding of her audience.
The integration of Dr. Mian into Earle’s content, initially showcased back in 2024, has also piqued audience interest. Earle noted, “They just think she’s a dermatologist I see—they don’t know we’ve been working on this together behind the scenes.”
The gradual buildup and subtle marketing strategies have paid off, with customers consuming skincare content Earle has been producing for years. “We actually hoped they’d start guessing skincare,” Blieden revealed, outlining their strategy to prepare audiences for the launch without revealing too much too soon.
In recent days, marketing efforts intensified, highlighted of an Instagram account named @wtfisalixdoing, which has drawn considerable attention—boasting 398,000 followers and teasing the launch in various posts. Despite a recent trademark filing leak that caught them off guard, Blieden expressed satisfaction that they had kept the news under wraps for so long.
Looking toward the future, Reale Actives has product launches planned through 2027, and Earle will continue to share her journey with her audience—now with their knowledge of what’s to come. For fans eager to back the brand, a simple scroll through Earle’s social media platforms offers a clear testament to her skincare journey and the products designed to support it.
