Following negotiations with the European Commission, Anthropic announced its decision to allow ENISA access to Mythos. This marked a significant turn in the standoff, as Mythos has autonomously uncovered over 10,000 zero-day vulnerabilities, alarming many in the tech industry.
The breakthrough means ENISA will become the first EU institution to utilize this powerful tool for bolstering cybersecurity. This change aims to enhance the EU’s defensive posture against cyber threats, which have become increasingly prominent in recent years.
Anthropic’s decision reflects a growing need for collaboration between tech companies and regulatory bodies. with this technology, Anthropic is positioning itself as a player in shaping the future of cybersecurity in Europe, potentially influencing global standards.
