ASUS continues to push the boundaries of laptop design with the reintroduction of the ROG Zephyrus Duo at CES 2026. Previously released in 2023, the new model replaces its tilting second screen with dual 16-inch OLED displays. This significant upgrade positions the laptop as a powerhouse for both gamers and content creators alike.
ASUS proudly claims this as the world’s first 16-inch dual-screen gaming laptop. Each 3K HDR OLED screen provides an expansive 21 inches of diagonal viewing area, equipped with DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. With a 120Hz refresh rate and lightning-fast response time, the devices ensure smooth performance, although only the main display features NVIDIA G-Sync support.
Additional features include a detachable magnetic Bluetooth keyboard that offers ample key travel amidst its slim profile. Users can switch between five different operational modes to optimize their experience based on task requirements. From Laptop mode to Tent mode, the versatility of the device caters to various user preferences.
Under the hood, the laptop contains a robust 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor paired with high-performance NVIDIA GPU options. The device’s design incorporates advanced cooling mechanisms, allowing it to maintain performance levels during intensive tasks. With pre-orders available starting at $4,500 for the RTX 5070Ti model, this innovative laptop is set to make waves in the gaming and creative sectors alike.
