The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, has emphasized the critical importance of actively defending and sustaining the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in Ghana. Speaking at a national dialogue focused on the office’s role in combating corruption, Agyebeng warned that allowing the institution to collapse could severely undermine the country’s fight against corruption.
Agyebeng’s remarks highlight the alarming challenges faced , which was established to lead the charge against graft and promote accountability within government and public institutions. He urged civil society, civic organizations, and the public to rally in support of the office, stressing that its capacity to operate effectively is essential for fostering transparency and justice in Ghana.
