A horrific incident unfolded in Bhongir, Telangana, where a four-year-old boy suffered severe injuries after being attacked by a stray dog. On Tuesday afternoon, the boy was playing near his home when he was suddenly ambushed . Eyewitnesses reported that the animal appeared aggressive and attacked without provocation. Local residents rushed to the boy’s aid, managing to fend off the dog and transport him to a near immediate medical attention.
Medical staff confirmed that the injury was severe, resulting in the loss of the child’s eye. Doctors are working to stabilize him, and further treatments are planned to address the trauma he has experienced. “The child is in a critical but stable condition. We are doing everything possible to ensure his recovery,” a hospital spokesperson stated.
This incident has reignited discussions about the growing population of stray dogs in the region.
