Good Samaritan beaten helping crash victim

A man is recovering in the hospital after he was brutally attacked while trying to assist a victim of a car accident. The incident occurred late Tuesday evening on a busy highway, where multiple vehicles had collided, scattering debris and leaving one driver trapped in their car.
