The Primary and Secondary Education Ministry of Indonesia has put forth a proposal for an additional budget of Rp89.5 trillion (approximately US$5.3 billion) aimed at upgrading 60,000 schools across the nation. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the quality of education and ensure that students have access to better facilities.
The proposed budget highlights the government’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure, which is crucial for fostering an environment conducive to learning. The upgrades are expected to include renovations of existing classrooms, the construction of new buildings, and the provision of modern educational tools and resources.
