However, a global shortage of RAM has forced Meta to adjust its pricing strategy. Starting April 19th, the 128GB Quest 3S will retail for $349.99, while the 256GB model will cost $449.99. The flagship Quest 3 headset is set to jump by $100, now priced at $599.99.
The increase comes as manufacturers face challenges securing the components needed for production. This has sparked concerns in the tech community, which worries that rising costs could deter potential buyers and slow the growth of the VR market.
