Microsoft has integrated a new feature into its handheld gaming console, the Xbox Ally X. This development marks a significant upgrade from the standard gaming experience, which previously relied on conventional graphics rendering.
The company is now testing its Automatic Super Resolution (Auto SR). Initially introduced on select Copilot Plus PCs nearly two years ago, this technology enhances visual quality and frame rates in select games, creating a more immersive experience.
As testing progresses, players will soon experience improved graphics while gaming in docked mode. This rollout aligns with Microsoft’s strategy to enhance user experience on its growing handheld platform.
The introduction of Auto SR is expected to elevate the Xbox Ally X’s competitive edge in the portable gaming market. As players seek higher-quality experiences, this feature may significantly influence their purchasing decisions and expectations.
