Until now, Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac enabled users to create and edit documents seamlessly. It was a favored choice for many professionals and creatives in their daily tasks.
However, significant changes are on the horizon. Starting in July, users will be unable to edit or create files, rendering the software effectively read-only. Microsoft attributes this limitation to an expiring digital certificate.
This shift means that any ongoing projects or documents will be locked in place. Users will lose key functionalities, which could disrupt workflows and lead to frustration.
The consequences are significant for businesses relying on Office 2019. Without an upgrade path, users must consider alternative solutions or risk workflow disruptions.
