Russia has sharply criticized the United Kingdom’s recent announcement regarding plans to seize oil tankers suspected of being part of a so-called “shadow fleet” operating in British waters. The Kremlin’s response characterized these intentions as a form of “piracy.”
The UK’s stance comes amid ongoing tensions in the global energy market and heightened geopolitical frictions, particularly following the invasion of Ukraine.
