Nintendo has solidified its summer lineup for the Switch 2 release of Splatoon Raiders, scheduled for July 23. This marks the first spinoff in the beloved Splatoon series, shifting focus to a predominantly single-player experience while still offering a hint of multiplayer excitement.
Players will step into the shoes of a mechanic in a vibrant world, customizing their characters before embarking on treasure hunts across the Spirhalite Islands. Teaming up with Deep Cut, a fictional band from Splatoon 3, you’ll upgrade your weapons to face off against challenging sea creatures.
The latest trailer showcases colorful inky action reminiscent of titles like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Players can even mount Big Man, a manta ray, and unleash chaotic attacks a shark at enemies. Additionally, an Amiibo pack featuring the three Deep Cut members will accompany the game.
Nintendo has also confirmed the inclusion of multiplayer mode in Splatoon Raiders, allowing up to four players to join forces either locally or online. Fans of cooperative gameplay can look forward to tackling raids together, adding an engaging community element to this spinoff adventure.
