Opera has introduced a new feature aimed at enhancing user interaction while browsing. The Browser Connector now allows users of Opera One and Opera GX to incorporate AI chatbots like ChatGPT or Claude into their sessions. This integration enables real-time assistance from open tabs.
The move reflects Opera’s commitment to incorporating AI capabilities, following its earlier launch of the AI-focused Opera Neon browser. Unlike traditional options, the Browser Connector provides flexibility, allowing users to switch between different AI services without being locked into one ecosystem.
Users can easily enable the Browser Connector through the AI Services section in the Settings menu. This feature permits chatbots to understand the context of web pages, providing relevant answers and improving the overall browsing experience significantly.
