Theuma’s decision follows a dramatic decline in the SaaS sector, with over $2 trillion in market capitalization lost in the first quarter of 2026. In light of the changing market dynamics, he is replacing SaaStock with a new initiative: Shift AI.
The inaugural Shift Europe conference is set for October 13-14, 2026, in Barcelona. This rebranding reflects a pivot towards the burgeoning field of artificial intelligence, aiming to address current industry trends and challenges.
