Instead, the title of the largest airport in Southeast Asia goes to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, which ranks prominently on the global stage. With a sprawling area of approximately 3,240 hectares, Suvarnabhumi can accommodate a substantial volume of passenger traffic, making it a crucial hub for international travelers.
U.S. airports dominate the list, with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport topping the chart. Several other major U.S. hubs such as Chicago O’Hare and Los Angeles International Airport follow closely behind, reflecting the country’s robust air travel infrastructure.
