In the upscale Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, life took a disturbing turn for CEO Sam Altman as a shooting incident occurred at his residence. Authorities received reports of possible shots fired early on Sunday, prompting a swift response from the San Francisco Police Department.

Officers from the SFPD’s Special Investigation Division detained 25-year-old Amanda Tom and 23-year-old Muhamad Tarik Hussein. The investigation led to the seizure of three firearms, and both suspects now face charges of negligent discharge.

Details from the police report reveal that the suspects were inside a Honda sedan when one allegedly fired a shot toward the property. Security personnel and surveillance footage corroborated the claims, with a gunshot being reported shortly after the incident occurred.

This shooting marks a troubling escalation, as it follows a recent attack in which a 20-year-old man threw a Molotov cocktail at Altman’s home, igniting a fire on the premises. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in either case, but the threats against Altman raise serious concerns about safety in the tech elite’s neighborhoods.
