Published on May 25, 2026

The IEEE TryEngineering OnCampus program has successfully expanded from two to seven universities, providing hands-on engineering experiences for preuniversity students. This initiative aims to inspire young minds in problem-solving activities across various engineering disciplines.

This expansion was made possible through funding from the IEEE Innovation Committee. New partner institutions include the University of Zagreb in Croatia, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in Egypt, and Majan University College in Oman.

Participants have engaged in workshops covering topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and electrical engineering. Notable activities included circuit building in Oman and lectures on quantum computing in Malaysia, all designed to boost students’ skills and confidence in technical fields. Related News
